The Amanzi full-scale water filtration system brings vortex-cavitation technology to ponds, pools, lakes, and irrigation reservoirs. Designed for larger applications, it improves water clarity, reduces odors, and supports healthier ecosystems without the use of chemicals or costly maintenance.

How it works

The system uses the same vortex-cavitation principles found in Amanzi’s smaller filtration devices, scaled up for larger bodies of water. As water circulates through the system, it is guided into a spiral flow that mimics natural river dynamics. This movement restores flow and circulation to stagnant water, preventing the conditions that lead to algae growth and foul odors.

Within this vortex, rapid pressure changes form microscopic bubbles that collapse with force – a process known as cavitation. This naturally increases oxygen levels, disrupts microbial buildup, and alters mineral behaviour in the water. Unlike chemical treatments or mechanical filters, this method works in harmony with natural processes to restore balance and improve water quality.

Inspired by Nature

Austrian forester and inventor, Viktor Schauberger, closely studied the movement of water in nature. He observed that water naturally flows in spirals and vortices, and introduced the concept of implosion technology, which focuses on inward, spiral motion – contrary to the explosive force used in most modern machines.

Schauberger’s studies directly inspired the concept behind our Vortex Snake – a system designed to mimic the natural vortex movement of water to enhance oxygenation, structure, and energy within water, just as Schauberger envisioned in his nature-based designs.
